Bridgestone Golf “Boom It”

Problem

Point out the advantages of Bridgestone’s new golf ball line, intended for average golfers.

Solution

Employing the talents of everyman David Feherty, we use his natural humor to connect with golfers who experience the more-than-occasional slice or hook. With the promise of more distance with a higher compression ball, David keeps it light-hearted and is able to point out the innovations of the new ball construction.

Results

There is a direct correlation between the airing of the TV spots and increased sales, particularly at discount sports stores where the average golfer shops. David Feherty has proven to be a hit with consumers who recognize his appearances as a commentator for PGA Golf.
