Slazenger “Fear”

Problem

Evoke the aura of golf legend and its roots in Scottish history. Speak to the wild nature of ‘links’ golf.

Solution

The spot was shot in an ethereal, almost poetic fashion. The typography helps tell the story with hand-drawn letterforms as if from the pen of an old Scottish caddie. The copy eludes to the nature of playing the wild, windy, links. Are you excited, or afraid.

Results

The spot helped to fix Slazenger’s market position as a brand of stature and tradition. The ball appeals to the high end golfer who will travel to find the ultimate golfing experience.
