AT&T “Explorer Takeover”

Problem

Create a store ‘takeover’ refresh to follow the summer season and emphasize the theme park experience.

Solution

Using a metaphor for connectivity, we created a spatial world that evokes a microscopic molecular world or the expanses of the universe. In it we follow an astronaut who later reveals himself to be a child. He introduces the ideas of exploration, discovery, connectivity, and sharing along the way.

Results

This refresher was a hit with the large demographic of affluent female tourists with their kids in tow – a moment of surprise and delight accompanied by an intriguing audio cue.
