Problem

With the acquisition of DIRECTV and now Time-Warner, we now must convince our customers that AT&T is more than a products and services company, we are now a legitimate entertainment provider.

Solution

In this one minute takeover of all screens in the store, we adopted the motifs of entertainment as a visual framework for the content. Backdrops of flickering lights, glitzy reflections, and cinematic color themes frame the entertainment story of drama, sports, comedy, and action.

Results

The cards are still out on this transition that will be many years in the making, but this forward thinking step into the entertainment zone set the tone for a number of merchandising and display decisions that will ultimately transform the company.
