New York Film Festival “City of Lights”

Problem

Create a promotion to highlight the annual event, that will translate to posters and print.

Solution

The city of lights concept is built from in-camera effects and physical objects that could be lit and positioned for print needs. Bathed in light, the visuals evoke the cinema and the tactile qualities of filmmaking. We move from scene to scene, discovering new credits and titles at each stop.

Results

Done as a spec piece, this design remains one that we wish to see executed. It is both challenging and provocative.
