Weather Vane could also be called the Weather Vane of Love. This commission piece is a bookshelf sized creation built around a small lead embroidery stamp that came from the Chelsea flea decades ago. Supposedly it came from the Macy’s basement custom shop. Now it is the base of a rotating top section made from furniture remnants, music, game and toy parts. Grounded on a large lions claw foot, the sculpture symbolizes the shifting winds of love that long relationships learn are part of unions that last.
