This ostrich-sized artisanal egg from South Africa became the perfect candidate to get a Second Life after it was violently dropped on a concrete floor - twice!. Old Wound started as an acquisition on a safari excursion, and now lives a new life as a captured moment in time. Some shelving and artifacts from India and Bulgaria proved to be a suitable structure to suspend the egg shell in mid explosion. Seemingly kinetic but frozen in this instant like a watermelon pierced by an arrow.
