Created from cast off materials from musical instruments, weaving loom parts, printing blocks, chair spindles, and an old bread board.
This piece rose like a feather to the light form it became. Old textile printing blocks and carved Victorian scraps became wings, and from there it always felt like it could send out a high note. The compartment inside is a place to stash your musical ideas and lyrics.
