Scout is the original prototype for the Second Life concept. It was cooked up from a variety of pieces and parts of earlier paintings, game pieces, toys, and weaving implements. The finished piece confirmed that the energy of past endeavors can re-emerge in a new life form.
Scout is a small agile figure holding multiple opportunities to peer inside and discovery its inner workings. It’s a confident small figure made from painted scraps the studio, flea market toys and furniture parts from Japan, England, Bulgaria, and Sweden.
