It’s called Banker for a reason. The central box it is built around is a nearly indestructible wooden vault protected with a secret key entry. It should hold about a million in cash. Banker has a distinguished presence as an institution should.
Banker is a substantial floor-standing artwork. It’s perched on eccentric lanky legs and stands with authority, like a manager in a three-piece suit. The gourds on top, from the Pacific Islands, resemble globes, and other parts originate from England, Japan, India, Polynesia, and the vault at its center was a homegrown flea from the Midwest.
