History of Video Games

Problem

Create a show opening that speaks to the history of gaming, and also to its future.

Solution

From its humble beginnings, video games have evolved from simple systems to complex code-based structures. The opening alludes to the ominous future where reality and code are indistinguishable.

Results

The visual system built from typographical code proved to be a versatile tool to build bumpers, transitions, and billboards to give the program a futuristic rather than simply historic touch.
